Modular assembled vessel from Afterwords Studio (London, est. 2025).
About the Collection
Modular assembled vessels are forms shaped through structural composition and industrial systems.
This series takes stainless steel as its underlying framework, joined and held together by standardised components. Ceramic or glass elements are set within it as both functional and visual vessels. Different materials meet within a single structure, creating layered relationships between use and perception.
Each component can be adjusted and reconfigured. Height, spacing, and proportion remain open, shifting through the act of assembly, allowing the form to unfold within a stable framework.
Across the structure, contrasts of density and openness, weight and lightness, transparency and opacity come into balance, establishing a quiet, rational rhythm. The cool precision of stainless steel sits alongside the warmth of ceramic or the clarity of glass, holding a gentle tension between materials.
