Double-knee workwear pants made from heavy-duty cotton duck canvas from the surplus store were the answer for many early climbers searching to find pants that could withstand the abuse of climbing. In addition to the double-knee design, the Doubleback Pants feature two large back climbing pockets, designed to be easily accessible on the rock face. We took the liberty to give these a good washing beforehand so that by the time you put them on, the heavy canvas has already softened up a bit.
