Double-knee workwear pants made from heavy-duty cotton duck canvas from the surplus store were the answer for many early climbers searching for pants that could withstand the abuse of climbing. Our doubleback pants feature a double-knee design, and two large rear climbing pockets sit high and wide for easy access when you’re on the rock face or on the move, adding both practical storage and a nod to vintage climbing style. We took the liberty of giving these a good washing beforehand so that by the time you put them on, the heavy canvas has already softened up a bit. Don’t worry; there’s plenty of life still in ‘em for you to break them in and make them your own.
