Nicole Salnikov is a visual artist, book designer, and climber based in Basel, Switzerland. For Summit Journal 320 (Spring 2024), she created this piece to accompany MaiLee Hung's essay, "They Just Laughed," a tribute to Summit's pioneering founders, Jean Crenshaw and Helen Kilness.
