It's a full hinge balaclava for snowboarding and skiing. The Airhole at the mouth is embroidered: a thick, padded satin stitch rings the hole, so it's soft right against your skin. Your breath goes out through it instead of up into your goggles, so your lenses stay clearer.

The face panel is shaped to sit flat under a helmet without bunching, and it folds down when you need to eat, drink or breathe. The blend is 35% merino wool and 65% polyester, so it breathes, stays warm when wet and resists odour. On our warmth scale merino is an Everyday fabric, for roughly 0 to −10°C.
