The Scout is our directional freeride board. It's built for powder days, and it still carves the rest of the week. Taper and hover camber sink the tail and lift the nose. Inertia Carbon Rods make it snappy edge to edge, and the generous width floats without dragging a toe or a heel.

Snowboard Mag tested it for their Hot 100 as an all-mountain board: "The Scout is an all-around destroyer that turns the whole mountain into a wave."

Medium flex. Tri-axial fibreglass over a poplar and paulownia core with Inertia Carbon Rods, an ISO Speed 7500 base and 95A SmoothRide urethane sidewalls. 12 mm of taper (14 mm on the 160). 4x2 inserts. Graphic by Maks Eidelson.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

• Powder: Size up for maximum float.
• All Mountain: Run your normal size to bomb everything.
• Freestyle: Size down for tight turns and hit runs.

Sizes 148, 152, 154, 156, 158 and 160. Waists run from 249 to 264 mm, and every size from 152 up takes large bindings. Rider weight runs from 45 to 90 kg (100 to 200 lb) across the range.
