We honor the Acadians, those hearty French Canadians who tamed the north woods of Maine and Eastern Canada, with our new half wedge axe. Coming in at 2.75 lbs. and hung on a 30" Amish-turned New England pattern hickory handle of our own design, it is a little beefier than our Allagash Cruiser so go ahead and tackle those bigger projects. The difference from our Maine wedge pattern Allagash Cruiser can be seen in its thicker poll adding more power when splitting or chopping. In a nod to the Maine axe makers of the past, (and different than the stamp on our other axes) we stamped "Brant & Cochran S. Portland, ME" on the head. Comes with a Maine-made leather sheath.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Brant & Cochran. If you find that the product purchased does not meet your standards you may return it to us within 30 days of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
