Description

An oversized weekender tote with a distinctive wide strap for structure, depth, and comfort. It features an interior pocket and keychain loop for quick access to essentials. Made with a heavy duty 15 Oz cotton duck canvas with an environmentally-friendly water repellent treatment. Made in New York.

Measurements 

Approx L23" (58 cm) x W15.5" (39 cm) x D4" (11 cm), Shoulder Drop 8" (21cm). Please note measurements may vary slightly by 0.5" due to fabric differences.

Material

The 15 Oz duck canvas is 100% cotton with a commercial water repellent treatment. The water repellent is not surface applied, instead the fabric is completely impregnated with our proprietary finish that prevents water permeation. No environmentally damaging fluoropolymers or formaldehyde is involved.  

Care

Spot clean stains with warm water and soap (we recommend a non-colored soap bar). Always test a small area first before cleaning. If necessary, machine wash in cold water. Lay flat to air dry. When dry, iron with low heat or hang it for a few days with a towel inside to naturally remove the wrinkles. Never put the bags in the dryer.

 

We are not responsible for uninsured shipments that are lost, damaged, or stolen. Please consider adding shipping insurance for package protection.

 

Processing Times:

Orders will be processed every Tuesdays and Thursdays of the week unless a customer has paid for expedited shipping. For more information on shipping times, please refer to the courier services available upon checkout. Please note, if Tuesday or Thursday falls on a US holiday, orders will be shipped out on Wednesday and Friday instead.

 

United States:

Free shipping on orders over $100 within the U.S., 1-5 business days. Please note delivery time is suggested by the couriers. We are not responsible for late deliveries. For faster delivery, please see our shipping rates offered upon checkout. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.


Canada:

Free Shipping over CA $150. Please note delivery time is suggested by the shipping carriers. We are not responsible for late deliveries. For faster delivery, please see our shipping rates offered upon checkout. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.

We offer an affordable flat shipping rate for international orders. This will be shipped using FedEx's International Connect service through our third party shipping platform. Please note, there is no insurance included with this service. To purchase insurance, please consider adding Package Protection upon checkout.

Customers are responsible for paying customs duties, taxes, and handling fees levied by the shipping carrier. These charges are mandated by local customs authorities and are separate from the initial shipping cost paid to the carrier. Since these fees vary by country and are assessed based on the value of your order, we recommend that international customers inquire about these charges prior to making a purchase to avoid unexpected costs.

Lost/Stolen Packages:

 If you have not purchased shipping insurance upon checkout, we are unable to cover lost or stolen packages should they occur. Please keep in mind when choosing mailing services. Please see "Route Package Protection" section below. 


For issues with delivery or tracking, the easiest and fastest way to get a resolution is to reach out directly to the shipping company. Sometimes carriers will prematurely mark shipments as “delivered”, or need additional information from you to complete the delivery. We understand the frustration of lost or stolen packages. Refunds

We are glad to refund merchandise within 14 days of receipt of your online purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@kaanbags.com and mention your order #. Once your item has been received by us, we will issue a refund. Please note, as a small business we are unfortunately unable to offer free returns. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.


U.S. Orders:
We will provide the return shipping label for U.S. orders only. The return shipping cost of $8 will be deducted from your refund.

International Orders:
For all international orders, customers are responsible for arranging the return. Please email us and we will provide the return address. We suggest shipping with tracking to confirm delivery as we are not responsible for packages lost in transit. Please note, we are unable to refund shipping costs or duties and fees paid to Customs.

All items returned for an exchange or refund must be unused. Please allow up to 10 days for your refund to process. We reserve the right to refuse any returned item that does not meet our return policies. All sale items are final sale and can not be refunded or exchanged nor receive any price adjustments.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note, after 30 days of receiving your order we can not accept claims for product damage or defects. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned such as custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

To start a return or exchange, email us at hello@kaanbags.com with your order #We will provide the return shipping label for U.S. orders only. The return shipping cost (usually around $8-10) will be deducted from the store credit you will receive for your original item. This store credit will not expire and can be used to place a new order on kaanbags.com. 

For international exchanges, customers are responsible for arranging the return. Please email us and we will provide the return address.
