To make these Alpine-design cargo pants water-repellent, we treated the material with a DWR protectant. Use the two "envelope" cargo pockets to store tactical gear or outdoor maps. The boot tie-down tabs keep the Alpine Trousers from riding up in snow or mud. When you need to move out, these pants pack down tight in your rucksack.
